Home School Workshop Schedule

Let’s face it, teaching science can be difficult. How can you make dry scientific concepts come to life in a fun way? That'’s where Mad Science can help! We offer Home-School Workshops designed to conquer difficult concepts and principles and make them fun and exciting.

Our professional lesson plans present ideas with terms, phrases and language that kids understand. We present science concepts in bold, innovative ways that draw your students into the exciting world of possibility and discovery. Through the use of real life examples from the world around them, kids learn science from hands on experiences. Our proven method engages your students in active and experiential learning that heightens understanding, retention and application.

Home-School Workshops are convenient:

Home-School workshops will be held each and every Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00pm.  So join us for our edutaining programs in the wonderful world of Science!

Cost - $89 per 6 week session if you register by the Tuesday before each Thursday, after Tuesday there is a $5 late fee added and the cost will be $94 if you register after the deadline.  Museum and multi-sibling discount price is $80 but you must call to register for this price (have membership number ready) at (803) 739-2122.

 Available for Grades K-6^th! Classes are taught at the Grade Appropriate Level and will be split by Grade Level pending the number of children registered. On the way to becoming a “Future Mad Scientist,” each week participants make and take home a different science project.
