Our "Up, Up and Away" stage show addresses rank requirements for: Webelos Scientist Activity Badge (only partial), Bear Aircraft Arrow Point, Wolf Trail, Science Belt Loop and Science Academics Pin. This is a 45-minute show with volunteer scouts chosen from the audience. Our Blue & Gold "Fire & Ice" stage show is also 45-minutes.
We have a specific Webelos Scientist Activity Badge Science FunShop that is a concentrated half-day session. As the Webelos Scout Book references, each Webelos has to do NINE different things before he can earn the Scientist Activity Badge. In our 2-hour Webelos Science FunShop, the scouts would:
* learn about Bernoulli's Principle * learn about Pascal's Law * learn about Newton's First Law of Motion * conduct atmospheric pressure experiments * conduct air pressure experiments * build and launch a model rocket * conduct fog experiments * form crystals * conduct optical illusion experiments
This highly hands-on, interactive Webelos FunShop brings a Mad Scientist to your location of choice, and includes all supplies and equipment. This completely earns them their Webelos Scientist Activity Badge.
We also have a Mineral Mania Science FunShop that will completely earn a scout their Webelos Geologist Badge. This is a one-hour FunShop.
There is also a Lights, Color, Action!/Chromatography Science FunShop that completely satisfies the five requirements for the Webelos Artist Activity Badge. This is a 90-minute FunShop.
